Earn college credit on campus

Before applying for Dual Enrollment, make sure you meet the following requirements:

• Completed your sophomore year of high school
• GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Permission from a high school administrator
• Permission from a parent or guardian
• Able to fit college credit into your high school’s requirements for graduation
• Able to find transportation to and from your STLCC campus of choice
• Have a Math ACT of 22 or higher and a composite reading-writing ACT score of at least 18*

*If you haven’t taken the ACT yet, or your scores do meet the criteria don’t worry! You can take a placement test to enroll in STLCC dual enrollment courses.

• 1. Apply

  Complete the “Dual Enrollment” application online to get started at STLCC.

• 2. Get Connected

  Activate your MySTLCCID username and set up your @my.stlcc.edu email address. STLCC will use this email address to communicate with you, so check your new email account often.

• 3. Submit your Authorization Form and Transcript

  Meet with your high school counselor and talk with your parent/guardian to get approval to enroll to participate in the dual enrollment program. A parent/guardian and school official’s signature is required.

• 4. Send in your ACT Scores or Take a Placement Test

  If you’ve take the ACT, request that a copy of your scores is sent to STLCC. If you don’t have an ACT/SAT score or it doesn’t meet our criteria, you can determine your best fit through a placement test at our Assessment Centers.

• 5. Meet with an STLCC Advisor

  New students must meet with an academic advisor or attend a Dual Enrollment Student Workshop.

• 7. Register for Classes

  Using your STLCCID username and password, log-on to Banner Self-Service to get started.

• 8. Pay for Your Classes

  Pay online or in-person at a campus Cashier’s office or sign up for a payment plan.

  Get your books, STLCC OneCard student ID, parking pass and Metro U-Pass.
